After leaving the island before evening, we will proceed to Kuala Terengganu (capital city of Terengganu state) for sightseeing, dinner, and hotel stay. On Sunday, if time permits we will go for sightseeing at Teluk Cempedak beach or to a waterfall near Kuantan.

iii) Proceed with the trip. Rest and relax in the coach. There will be meal and washroom breaks along the way.
Day 2 (Sat):
i) Reach Marang. From jetty, board the boat for 15mins fast ride towards Kapas Island.
ii) Snorkelling near Kapas Island. Snorkelling mask and life vest will be provided. Rich in marine life, you will see tons of corals and plenty of colourful fishes swimming around you. Other commonly seen creatures include cuttlefish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, giant clams, etc. For those not into snorkelling, you may rest on the boat.
iii) Proceed to Kapas Island. Packet lunch provided.
iv) Rest, relax, and appreciate this idyllic island. For those who are keen, you may go for these activities:
- explore more snorkelling sites. There are several sites with nice views of coral reef
- rent kayak to paddle around, to view corals and island scenery
- hike to Lion Hill which has panoramic view of the sea. It's a short climb to hilltop but the slope is steep.
v) Before evening, board the boat and return to mainland.
vi) Proceed to Kuala Terengganu. Sightseeing at majestic Crystal Mosque.
vii) Check-in hotel. Rest. Own activities e.g. own dinner at Chinatown, shopping at mall, exploring Kuala Terengganu by night, etc.

Heard of a unique sandbar island, that is only accessible twice period a month, and offers 'mirror' effects for picturesque photography opportunities, right in the middle of the Straits of Malacca? Join us to experience the 'Sasaran Sky Mirror' when it emerges when the tide is ideal and reflects the vast sky and its tranquil surroundings.
Thereafter, we will continue our scenic excursion to Sekinchan which is known for its vast paddy fields. Dubbed the 'rice bowl' of Selangor, it's a scenic area for photography and relaxation. We will also visit Bukit Melawati, for sightseeing and feeding silvered-leaf monkeys.

ii) Board the boat and proceed to Sky Mirror. During the 30mins boat ride, there have been sightings of dolphins frolicking nearby. Will we be lucky enough to have dolphins accompanying us during the ride?
iii) Explore the Sky Mirror site. You can take nice photos with your reflection there. For better photography effects, it is recommended that you wear bright colour clothing. Boat operators will provide props and they can also help you to take photos with nicer effects. A packet of simple lunch will be provided after we returned to jetty.
iv) Proceed to Bukit Melawati. You can either walk up the hill, or spend RM3 to take the tram with design of a cute choo-choo train. Attraction includes:
- a lighthouse, cannons, a structure for sighting of new moon.
- seaview of the Straits of Malacca.
- feeding the Silvered-leaf Monkeys. It's a rather gentle species. Adults are dark-grey in colour whereas the baby has golden fur.
v) Proceed to Sekinchan. Sightseeing around, which may include:
- visit paddy field, see the endless carpet of lush green.
- Paddy Processing Factory & Gallery. RM5. See the rice-processing facility & a museum with exhibits on traditional harvesting.
- mango stall and a local product shop.
vi) Check in hotel. Rest.
vii) In evening, proceed to Pantai Redang Beach for sunset. Other than seaview and signboards, there is also the iconic wishing tree that visitors can write wishes on a red ribbon and tie it onto the tree.
viii) Dinner at own expense. Then back to hotel to rest and relax.
Day 3 (Sun):
i) Watch sunrise over the paddy field, if you are keen. Own breakfast.
ii) Relax and own leisure. Checkout.
iii) Proceed to either KL or Klang for lunch and quick shopping. Participants will vote on that. KL has large shopping malls, whereas Klang is well known for its tasty, dark-broth Bak Kut Teh (巴生肉骨茶).
iv) Proceed for sumptuous Chinese style dinner at Yong Peng. If necessary, we may switch the dinner to Saturday at Sekinchan.
v) Around 9:30pm: back in Singapore via Second Link. Coach will provide dropoff at Jurong East and Newton MRT.

If we are lucky, we might be able to catch a picturesque "Sea-of-Clouds" beneath the hill. Participants need to hike about 45min to the hill peak. The hike is moderate in distance and difficulty.
After watching sunrise, we will head to Kuala Selangor for hotel stay and to Bukit Melawati for sightseeing and feeding silvered leaf monkeys. At night, we will gear up to experience the enchanting glow of "Blue Tears" and sparkle of fireflies during the boat ride. Blue Tears are bioluminescent microorganisms which produce a glowing blue light when seawater around them are twirled.

v) Proceed to Bukit Melawati. You can either walk up the hill, or spend RM3 to take the tram with design of a cute choo-choo train. Attraction includes:

Day 2:
i) Breakfast in hotel. Own leisure. If keen, you may go Famosa Fortress (Porta de Santiago), the ruins of St. Paul's Church, etc.
ii) Check out hotel. Visit the Baba Charlie Nyonya Cake outlet which is famous for its Nyonya Kuih.
iii) If there are people keen, visit Sam Poh Temple and Princess Hang Li Poh's Well. Depart Malacca.
iv) Reach Kluang, a district at middle of Johor state. If time permits, do a quick visit at the rustic Kluang Railway station which is quite a nice site for photography. Then meal at own expense, maybe at the larger branch of Kluang RailCoffee which serve the well-known round toasted bun, roasted coffee, and nasi lemak. There are also western foods.
v) Visit a local product shop known for its mouse-shaped Shanghai mooncake and other Tau Sar biscuits.
vi) Proceed to Mount Lambak (aka Gunung Lambak), a small mountain with height of 510m above sea level. Attractions there include hanging bridge, small rivers, and small Water Park. There are paths and trails for us to hike to mountain's midpoint. We are not climbing to peak, because the routes to peak are steep. Those who are not joining the hike can rest in the coach.

Getaway to Ipoh (18 - 20 Oct, Fri night - Sun)
Join us for a 2D3N trip to Ipoh (Perak, Malaysia). Well known for its delicious foods and sceneries, Ipoh is a nice weekend getaway destination for everyone. Aside from its Hor Fun and White Coffee, Ipoh has much more things for us to see, savour, and explore. On second or third day, 1 to 1 seat rotations will be conducted in the coach as we travel from one site to another.

Day 1 (Fri night):

ii) At 10pm, our coach will reach Jurong East to pick up those who prefer to meet there. Then go Customs clearance via Tuas Second Link Checkpoint.
iii) Proceed with the trip. Rest and relax in the coach. There will be meal and washroom breaks along the way.
Day 2 (Sat):
i) Breakfast, own expense. Visit the Heritage House in Gopeng, if you are keen. Around RM10. The museum-house has lots of antiques and items used by people of Gopeng about a century ago.
ii) Proceed to Tempurung Cave - one of the longest caves in Peninsula Malaysia. This is a guided tour. The cave consist of large chambers, spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
iii) Visit the scenic Kellie's Castle - a large, unfinished, ruined mansion. Own expense of about RM5-10. With its picturesque surrounding and structure, this is a nice site for photography.
iv) If time permits, we might proceed to Tambun Cave if it’s accessible. This limestone hill have Neolithic wall paintings that dated few thousands years ago. The ancient paintings include many depictions of animals (dugong, cow, fish), humans, abstract motifs, etc. The pre-historic drawings are located on a cliff 40m above ground level. To reach there, you have to hike about 20mins over rather rough trails and unmaintained stairs.
v) Ipoh city tour. Food hunt for popular White Coffee, popiah, chee cheong fun, caramel custard, etc. The Concubine Lane nearby there too.
vi) Check-in hotel and rest.
vii) Explore Ipoh by night. Dinner, own expense. Suggestion includes: famous beansprouts-chicken, zi char, salted chicken, buy Tambun Pomelo, kaya puff, etc.
Day 3 (Sun):
i) Breakfast in hotel.

iii) Visit one of the cave temple. It's a Chinese Temple built inside a large cave.
